An exceptionnally talented tuba player, Max Fuga is a complete artist on more than one front.


His musical career is filled with numerous awards, (1st Prize in tuba and Chamber Music from the Toulouse Conservatory, a certificate in advanced tuba practice from the «  Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon». There he completed his studies in choir practice, music history, arts and culture, orchestra, chamber music and music education.


In 2010, he obtained his teaching certificate in tuba ( CA).


He is also a supply musician in many prestigious orchestras that regularly call on him for his superior musicianship : Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, Orchestre National de Bordeaux Aquitaine, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France …

Director of «l’Ecole municipale de musique de Mirande » (Gers) since 1994, he has also been a tuba teaching Assistant at the «Conservatoire de Toulouse» since 2004.

Outside his musical activities, Max Fouga is also a talented painter, (He received the «Prix du Conseil Général des Hautes-Pyrénées»), sculptor on wood, stone and bronze.

He also writes poetry (Prix Paul Valéry in Montpellier in 1999), swims and is black belt at judo.
